What is a Virtual Race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked!) anytime and anywhere, even indoors on a treadmill.
How does a Virtual Race work?
Simply register for our virtual race. We will send you a t-shirt, race bib and participation medal. Complete the distance on race day or any time and anywhere you desire (even on a treadmill!). You can even email a photo in your t-shirt, bib and medal and we will include it on our website!
Can I walk?
Yes. Run, Walk, Crawl... anything you want to do...even bike!
Do I have to complete the entire distance at once?
No. Because this is a virtual run, and a take it at your own pace kind of thing, you will be exempt from any winners medals, so it is strictly a participation thing. Finish the race on race day with us, or when ever you can... all at once or a little at a time.
Which is better, the 5K in Lubbock or the Virtual Race?
Ashley knew and loved many people from all over the world. Unfortunately, not everyone can race with us in Lubbock on April 23rd, so we created this virtual race, so that everyone can be a part of this amazing cause. Just like participants in Lubbock, virtual racers will receive a t-shirt, a race bib, and a participation medal. So no matter where in the world you are, you can be a part of this special event.
